Restaurant business

Restaurant operator Terra Co., Ltd. is working to connect Japan and Oceania through food and foster a community where people gather to enjoy delicious cuisine. Based on a high level of hospitality, we have developed themed restaurants where patrons can experience the rich food culture and lifestyle of Australia and New Zealand while staying in Tokyo, encompassing their different ingredients, wines, cooking methods and styles.
In addition, we provide one-stop education and consulting solutions for the management of restaurant operations, including menu development, food and beverage, human resource development and inbound tourist communication based on a track record of having operated more than 10 restaurants in Tokyo and Honolulu, USA.

South

Located on the 39th floor of Yebisu Garden Place in upscale Ebisu, the Australia-themed South offers the blessings of Oceania’s rich bounty from the land and sea along with matching New World wines, on top of a magnificent view of the Tokyo skyline. Customers can enjoy the original taste of various ingredients from a single plate, such as platters of sensational seafood, quality Australian lamb and wagyu beef, together with seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Restaurant 02

Zealander

Located on the fifth floor of Tokyo’s prestigious Shin-Marunouchi Building in front of Tokyo Station, Zealander offers delicious seafood and meats from New Zealand, together with matching high-quality wines.
In addition, we are currently providing a cellar door (wine shop) at the restaurant where customers can sample and purchase for delivery leading Australian and New Zealand wines and liquor personally selected by our sommeliers. The restaurant offers a New Zealand pub-style experience in a casual but friendly atmosphere. Enjoy the blessings of New Zealand’s culinary delights from the ocean and on land together with its food culture at our Marunouchi restaurant.

Online cooking classes

South located on the top floor of Ebisu Garden Tower, Tokyo, also offers online cooking classes via its studio. Focused largely on Japan and Australia, the classes include cooking culture, cooking methods and dietary education from both countries, based on an online membership-only system. Japanese people are very interested in the food culture of Oceania, including its high protein foods and vegetables, particularly those who are focused on their beauty and health, while Australians are interested in Japanese cooking techniques and Japanese food flavours.

Aboriginal Art Gallery

The Aboriginal Art Gallery Land of Dreams in Tokyo is situated in the beautiful must-visit location in Tokyo at the Australian restaurant “South” on the top floor of the Yebisu Garden Place Tower. The gallery has been established by an Aboriginal Art coordinator Ms. Mayumi Uchida, the owner of Art Space Land of Dreams in Melbourne, with over 20 years expertise in the Aboriginal art world. Our collection includes artworks from emerging artists through to renowned artists nationally and globally. Come in to experience our vibrant galleries showcasing a variety of beautiful energetic paintings which are carefully selected by Mayumi and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
