COVID-19 countermeasures

Global Sky Group places great importance on the health and safety of our business partners and staff and is fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene management throughout our operational facilities.

As a countermeasure against the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the company has introduced additional measures based on advice from global and national health authorities, including the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Australia’s Department of Health and Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

The following infection prevention and hygiene management measures have been adopted:

・ Thorough infection prevention through hand washing/gargling; avoiding contact between executives/employees/customers;
・ Self-restraint by not conducting face-to-face meetings; limiting travel both domestically and internationally;
・ Providing updated information on a regular basis to all staff;
・ Strengthening business procedures for communication concerning the pandemic and preventing infection;
・ Increased frequency of cleaning, including using alcohol-based disinfectants;
・Due to the business downturn, encouraging employees to reduce overtime, use paid leave and work from home where possible;
・ Checking temperatures among service staff to ensure all staff are well with no fever-like symptoms;
・ Staff who feel unwell are asked to stay home based on government guidelines; immediately report to their superior; and to seek assistance from the medical institution / health centre advised by the company;
・ If anyone develops symptoms, to immediately close the business site and disinfect it.
