Viaggio restaurant serves up culinary tour

Hawaii diners will be taken on a culinary tour across Italy with the opening of the “Viaggio” restaurant in Honolulu.

Translated as “journey” or “travel” in Italian, Viaggio aims to provide a tour of the senses for an Italian fine dining experience not to be forgotten.

“From the Mediterranean waters of southern Italy with its bountiful seafood, to the fertile lands of the north famed for its delicious risottos, the menu takes us on a mouth-watering journey through the rich and diverse legacy of Italian inspired cuisine, artfully infused with the fresh and unique flavours of Hawaii,” according to Five Senses LLC, a U.S. subsidiary of Global Sky Group.

The restaurant’s opening on January 29 follows last year’s opening of its nearby sister restaurant, “Italica,” making it the fifth restaurant in the Global Sky Group.

Viaggio is located at 888 Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu, within a dealership that sells luxury cars including famous Italian brands, offering a relaxed atmosphere but with the very best of Hawaiian hospitality.

Global Sky Group is a creator of community hubs, currently operating 12 schools and five restaurants in Japan, Oceania and the United States, together with the operation of more than 30 wind engineering facilities, together with importing wine.
