Wind Engineering Center joins Marktec group

Global Sky Group company Wind Engineering Center Co Ltd has joined Tokyo-based Marktec Corporation as of March 31, 2020.

A maker of non-destructive inspection and marking equipment, Marktec has a corporate philosophy of “providing safety and reliability to society through quality assurance.”

By incorporating Wind Engineering Center as a subsidiary, Marktec plans to boost synergies with its Osaka-based subsidiary Honda Dynamics, a maker of wind pressure, heat insulation and wind tunnel test equipment. This will facilitate Marktec’s development of a new business division, its wind and environmental testing business.

In addition, by utilising the education and training expertise of Global Sky Group, not only Marktec but also its parent company, Alconix Corporation (listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange) plan to launch a human resources development program that trains engineers and chief technology officers, in collaboration with various group companies and educational institutions.
